A Novel Christmas by Charity Shane’ was such a sweet, cozy read for me. I know I’m a little late getting to my Christmas read, but it was worth it. It was quick, heartwarming, and immediately gave me all the holiday fuzzies. This is the kind of book you finish with a smile and a craving for comfort, connection, and good food.
One thing this story definitely made me realize? I need to step up my cooking skills all the way up 😂. The food mentioned throughout the book had me ready to pull out a pot and a playlist.
So… if anyone has delicious, well-seasoned recipes for any of the following mentioned in the book, please don’t gatekeep. Share them with me! 👀🍴
Potato salad (with just a little sugar)
Beef stew
Jalapeño cornbread muffins
Kahlua & hot chocolate
Apple cider
Egg nog
Overall, A Novel Christmas is the perfect feel-good read if you’re looking for warmth, love, and a gentle reminder of why the season (and good food) matters. 🎄📚✨
